Pastor Divorced Wife of 20years Marriage

Could this be the in vogue thing,that pastors will come on the altar in the full glare of church members to pronounced the dissolution of their marriage?

Well, i don't want to be religious about this,but just pondering social and moral angles the acts of these pastors tend to effect on the psyches of the society in general.

Bishop David Benenoch of Communion Church,pronounced openly during one of the church services his intention to divorce his wife of about two decades.
He cited spiritual reason for the divorce and interestingly,his wife,Esther Benenoch was said to have written numerous books on marriage,divorce,courtship,singles etc.So,the words on people's lips now,is how come her books are not relevant to save her marriage!

This is where my concerns coming in but i am not going to ruse controversy here,chikena!
