5 Ps That Changed The Life Of Bread Seller To Super Model

Some may call it sheer luck, others divine favour and to another it was a reward of hard work.
There is always something awaiting every deed of everybody in due course on earth.

I came across this sometimes, its a chain of words "OPPORTUNITYISNOWHERE" that gives two different meaning to different mindsets.
This is typically the way some of us sees things. Or how life pushes its happening to individual, that may either change such life to greatness or otherwise.

Opportunity is no where to some, so they keep searching. while some may resign to fate.

However, there are the resilient, who never quit one.
These are the one, who believed and used the principles of the 5 Ps, just like Olajumoke Orisaguna  the former Agege bread seller who was brought to fame by amiable and creative per excellence TY Bello of the famous KUSH of those yesteryears.

What are these 5Ps?

The 5Ps are just all needed in life to keep going on, until the life story changes to fame and glory.
They are hope and the horse of life to grace.

1. Patience.
Nothing will be achievable on earth, if there isn't enough patient to carry on any task or responsibility.
Patient help and feed hope to be alive, and give the mind calculative ideas and creativity to navigate on.
Without much patience, .Olajumoke might have run off the bread selling business, that only earn her paltry N800 daily.and join the restless and reckless life style, in pursuit of high life.

2. Perseverance.
This is just the engine room of hope, that get your endurance high on, like liquor in the system.
Perseverance want you to continue when all hopes seem lost, it helps you to maintain consistency. You just want to hold on, till there is result no matter how poor and harsh the situation might be. It makes you stronger and stoic.

3. Persistence.
Like the saying "winners don't quit because the quitters has never win".  If you don't hold on to your dream and get consistently doing the same thing over and over, you can never be the master, who eventually will be the winner.
When you are known for a particular task, it becomes the medium to channel whatever reward for doing that same task comes.

4. Passion.
Passion come when doing what we love and love what we do.
Perhaps, Olajumoke Orisaguna must have been selling her bread, with so much love and passion before TY Bello spotted her. And I think, this passion at which she has been doing her business helped to radiate the inner beauty which pushed the outward real self.
Taking tasking grudgingly, will affect virtually all about your result in the business and bring out the ugly side of you.
No ugliness can get positive results, no way.

When you are passionately doing your work, you are a positive magnet that attracts positives.

Olajumoke Orisaguna and TY Bello
5. Prayer.
This last sum all the above. Even if you are not religious as the case maybe, your desire and aspiration of your task becoming successful can be likened to PRAY.Yea, you are praying to be excellent and meet up necessity.

It was the silent moments of prayers, crazy moments of hustling and bustling and survival spirit that eventually changes the game.

Olajumoke story is a such that touched the very inner part of my heart, when think what grace can do to cause men to favour you.
There are others out there, wanting and lost. Resigned to fate or just hardened their hearts to enjoy the flashing moments of enjoyment, that will never last or take them any where.

It takes discipline, to operate under the influence of these
5Ps. You can't be a vagabond and an indolent to achieve greatness or be favoured to be lifted to stardom.

Jumoke must have paid the price, before divine touched the heart of TY and led her to be the agent of transformation.

Honestly, this is one of happening that motivates and encourages  hard work and consistency.
It is a touchy story of never, think all is ended and loose self esteem to the extend you now turn to  be public nuisance instead of public figure, worthy of emulation.

Just like a dream, who says its going to be like this.

Last year January, Jumoke hope to succeed was high but she didnt have the inkling of how and what will change the story of her life at a snaps of the fingers.
So much, that corporate organisations now falling heads on toes for endorsements and ambassadorship of their corporate images and products.....waoooh!!!

Is It Right For Planners To Collect Commission From Vendors?

This is an adaptation from Preston Bailey blog, and I felt oblige to share it because, it is a "norm" practice so strongly here and it has always disturbing.

Times are that, this practice back fire and affect the overall outcome of the event in question, when a vendor feel cheated or undervalued and therefore, will give service commiserate the paid offered.

Let me tell you a little story.
Not too long ago, I interviewed a lovely young bride who mentioned that she had a “huge” celebration that she loved–until she learned of her planners deceit. She explained that the party was a lot of fun.

There was great decor, food and wonderful music.
The only huge disappointment was that this planner (who shall remain nameless) charged the floral designer, lighting designer, invitation designer, band, and all the other vendors a 20% kick back in addition to the already hefty fee the bride had paid her.
My client was furious not only because she felt deceived, but that she was left to feel that she received 20% less than what she had paid for.

I make no secret about the fact that I am completely against the practice of paying and receiving commissions without the consent of clients.

For the first time, I am going to put it out there and pose some very provocative questions.
Why is it that planners feel the need to collect commissions?

Is it because most planners feel that they can not survive on the service they are being paid?

I want to add that a lot of clients have a hard time paying for the many hours and services provided by planners.

Could it also be that because this is such a general practice in their areas that they feel entitled to it?
I have been told that this is the norm in many cities and countries.

The thought is, “If I get you a job, you give me a cut.”

Or is simply because some planners are greedy. At the end of a job after collecting so many commissions, they end up making more of a profit than all of the other vendors?

What do you think?

I want your comments on this, do you think its a right practice or a must stop?.
